Programme Overview
This competency-based programme prepares new and practicing real estate professionals in the Cayman Islands to operate with legal compliance, ethical integrity, and service excellence. It integrates Cayman-specific law and regulation with customer experience, sales, valuation, property management, and end-to-end transaction execution. Delivery is hybrid, combining online modules, in-person workshops, and mentorship/on-the-job learning.
Programme Learning Outcomes to be a fully rounded and professional Real Estate Broker with an understanding of:
• Explain and apply Cayman property law, the Registered Land Act, and the Land Registry/title system.
• Demonstrate AML/KYC compliance and risk recognition across transactions and closings.
• Model ethics and professional standards to protect clients and the industry’s reputation.
• Deliver a superior Realtor Customer Experience using empathy, journey mapping, and service recovery techniques.
• Plan and execute sales, marketing, and negotiation strategies suited to local and international clients.
• Apply valuation methods and investment principles to advise buyers/sellers credibly.
• Manage strata governance, property management tasks, and dispute handling within Cayman law.
• Execute compliant transactions from listing to closing using checklists and anti-fraud safeguards.
Programme Duration & Delivery
• Duration: 6 weeks (approx. 24 contact hours) 6pm-8pm
• Modality: Hybrid (Online self-study + Live workshops + Mentorship/on-the-job)
• Assessment: Practical simulations, case studies, quizzes, projects, reflective writing

Cayman-Specific Integration
Registered Land Act; Land Registry processes and indemnity principles.
AML/KYC requirements, FIU guidance, SAR/STR processes.
Strata governance including Section 6(4) responsibilities and by-law enforcement.
CIREBA/CIRO ecosystem, split commissions, and collaboration protocols.
Cultural sensitivity: balancing local community needs with international investors.
